Wishes

Yeah
Hi people
If I could make a wish right now it would be to have less homework while still learning just as much. Frankly it's not that easy to balance my time problems between homework, school, chores, the swimming team, and other things such as reading and listening to music so it's getting kind of annoying that my teachers assign so much of it. Either way this post proves that I'm surviving so yeah.
Anyway, my friend Miki is sitting right next to me and reading over my shoulder. Hmm...what to talk about? Well this is a blog about music right?
Over spring break I did a lot and hardly had time to relax but when I did I listened to music. Sadly sometimes my brother turned his up and no offense to those of you 60's and 70's lovers out there but after listening to Aretha Franklin and The Wonders for hours on end I went crazy. Lol, so I'd go to my room, close the door and read.
I was happy when later one day my dad began to talk to me about is favorite composers and works. A few of them were tear jerking brilliance. Anyway, I wanted some replies to this post to see what you think about different types of music. I'm going to make a few polls so please vote.
From you ever loving music fan

Music To My Ears

Have you ever wondered how music was first discovered or what life would be like without it? The simple fact is that we wouldn't have lives. Think about it. What song has been playing over and over again in your head for a while? Ever caught a particularly annoying one replaying as if taunting you? Have you ever tried to get it out?
Music is what brings people to life. It expresses our souls, minds and hearts. Music is an art that may change over time but will never go away.
What's your favorite song? Chances are that your favorite song will change many times throughout your life as well.
Everyone has their own music that helps them get through the day, our emotions always change, every night in every way, and because of that music feeds our souls.
When I'm sad I usually tend to listen to sad music, it makes me feel better believe it or not. Some people have a constantly outgoing attitude while others are set back, relaxed or prefer to be on thier own. If you can think of a song that could fit your mood right now then I'd say that that is enough proof that the origin of music could never be determined no matter how hard anyone tried. It's simply to complex a thing to figure out.
Just enjoy whatever type of music you like without worrying about what others think about you. Who knows? They could be missing out on a whole different world.

Love for Music

Does anyone else think that Debussy's music is magic?
I know that I do.
Every time I listen to Clair de Lune it's like I'm in a dream. I know for sure that I can't be the only one out there left with an amazing love for the classics. Could I?
Out of all instruments I have to say that the piano is my favorite. I've always wanted to learn how to play but for some reason I just never seem to have the time on top of learning how to play the flute in band. I find it sad really that they don't have the piano as an option.
At least I'm always learning something. No matter what I always find something to study or learn, wether it be history or science or (a personal interest) human anotomy.
Strange that a girl like me can have so many friends who are opposite her in the taste of music, clothes, and habits though. *shrugs* Ah well. That is why I'm making this blog anyway. Is anyone else a fan of Debussy? How about Bach?
Classics aren't the only thing I listen to though and I'm not an opinionated person until it comes to rap. I find that noise that people my age call music extreamly annoying like a buzzing in my ear that won't go away.
I remember when my spanish teacher was playing spanish rap (which is basically nonexsitant in the spanish world by the way) in class. Everyone started laughing at my dislike for it as if I were crazy. I couldn't quite blame them however when I was banging my head on my textbook....then my desk....and finally I resorted to begging my teacher to let me out of the classroom. It's not like I was going to sit there and have an annoying beat stuck in my head!
My dad has been playing classics on YouTube all afternoon after I told him I was making this blog. *laughs* He's finding some pretty good ones if I do say so myself.
I'll leave it at that for now. I'm off to go read. *sighs* Another heartbreaking habit. I recommend Wuthering Heights and the Scarlet Letter. :-)
Until....well...later I guess. *shrugs*
